KBR has been awarded a contract by Zallaf Exploration, Production and Refining of Oil and Gas Company to deliver project management and technical services for the South Refinery Project in Ubari, Southwest Libya.
Under the agreement, KBR will undertake contract management, overall project management, and provide supporting technical services across the EPC phases, with execution expected over a period of 50 months.
The South Refinery Project reflects KBR’s continued commitment to supporting key oil and gas infrastructure in Libya. The company has an established track record in the country, having delivered engineering services for major national initiatives such as the Great Man Made River Project, one of the world’s largest irrigation systems, along with several other significant developments. On a global scale, KBR has delivered over 160 refining and downstream projects in PMC roles, highlighting its expertise in managing complex energy developments.
