JGC Holdings Corporation has announced that its local subsidiary, JGC France SAS, has been awarded a preliminary contract for a Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) project in Africa.
The contract, effective through September 30, 2025, will be executed as part of a joint venture in which JGC France SAS is a participant. The total contract value for the joint venture is approximately USD 550 million.
The scope of this award includes initial activities related to the engineering, procurement, and construction of the FLNG unit. A full-scale EPCIC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning) contract is expected to follow.
Africa remains a strategic growth region for the JGC Group, and through the successful execution of this project, the company aims to contribute to the region’s industrial development and infrastructure enhancement.
