Lamprell has secured an EPC contract from Dubai Petroleum for the Dubai Supply Authority’s Margham gas storage and processing facility in the UAE, as part of the wider Sunrise Development Programme. The expansion aims to increase capacity to meet projected growth in gas demand while supporting the integration of renewable energy solutions for customers across the Emirates.
Under the agreement, Lamprell will carry out the engineering, procurement and construction of civil works, pipe rack structures, and related infrastructure. The project will be delivered by the company’s onshore division, reflecting its strategic focus on broadening and reinforcing its onshore EPC capabilities.
Ian Prescott, CEO of Lamprell, said:
“Strengthening our onshore EPC offering continues to be a key priority for Lamprell, and this award represents meaningful progress toward that goal. We appreciate the confidence DPE has placed in our team and look forward to building on our long-standing relationship. Executing vital energy infrastructure projects in the UAE enhances our onshore track record, demonstrates our in-country expertise, and supports our ambitions for further growth in the region.”
Lamprell Managing Director – Onshore EPC, Massimo De Camillis, added:
“We are proud to support this important stage of the Margham expansion and to continue our enduring partnership with DPE. This contract reinforces Lamprell’s established onshore EPC credentials and our ability to successfully deliver key infrastructure projects in the UAE. Our team is committed to responsible delivery and maintaining the high standards expected by our client, and we value the continued trust placed in us.”
