Saipem has secured an additional offshore contract (Contract Release Purchase Order – CRPO) in Saudi Arabia under its existing Long-Term Agreement with Saudi Aramco.

The scope of work covers the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) of a 48-inch trunkline extending approximately 65 km offshore and 12 km onshore, along with related subsea facilities at the Safaniya oil field, one of the largest offshore oil fields globally.

Offshore installation activities will be executed by Saipem’s construction vessels currently operating in the region, while fabrication works will be undertaken at its Saudi yard, Saipem Taqa Al-Rushaid Fabricators Co. Ltd., in Dammam—further strengthening the company’s local industrial presence within the Kingdom.

The project will capitalize on Saipem’s extensive regional track record in delivering strategic pipelines and offshore infrastructure, supported by advanced engineering expertise. All activities will adhere to the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship, ensuring operational excellence and reliability throughout the execution phase. By combining strong local capabilities with technical innovation, the project will contribute to the efficient advancement of Saudi Arabia’s strategic energy infrastructure.

This latest award further reinforces Saipem’s enduring presence in the Kingdom and deepens its long-standing partnership with Aramco, underscoring its ability to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions for complex offshore developments.
