Saipem has secured two offshore contracts in Saudi Arabia under its existing Long-Term Agreement with Aramco, awarded through Contract Release Purchase Orders (CRPOs).
The first award, CRPO 162, has a duration of 32 months and covers the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) of approximately 34 km of pipelines with diameters of 20” and 30”, along with associated topside modifications at the Berri and Abu Safah oil fields.
The second contract, CRPO 165, spans 12 months and involves subsea intervention works at the Marjan field, as well as the EPC of approximately 300 meters of onshore pipeline and related tie-in activities.
For offshore execution, Saipem will deploy its construction vessels currently operating in the region. Fabrication activities will be carried out at Saipem’s local facility, Saipem Taqa Al-Rushaid Fabricators Co. Ltd. in Dammam, supporting the development and enhancement of local industrial capabilities.
These new awards further strengthen Saipem’s footprint in Saudi Arabia and reinforce its long-standing partnership with Aramco.
