Subsea7 has secured a substantial contract from Noble Energy EG Ltd (a Chevron company) for subsea installation works on the Aseng Gas Monetisation Project, located offshore Equatorial Guinea. The development involves a single-well tieback linking the Aseng field to the existing Alen platform.

The scope includes the transportation and installation of approximately 19 kilometres of rigid production flowline and 20 kilometres of umbilicals, along with associated subsea structures and tie-ins in water depths of around 800 metres.

Project management and engineering activities will commence immediately from Subsea7’s Paris office, with additional support from teams in Lisbon and Equatorial Guinea. Offshore execution is scheduled to begin in 2026.

David Bertin, Senior Vice President for Subsea7’s Global Projects Centre East, commented: “This award marks another key milestone in our long-standing relationship with Chevron. Subsea7 has been active in Equatorial Guinea for nearly two decades, delivering offshore construction as well as inspection, maintenance and repair services. We look forward to continuing our collaboration on the Aseng Gas Monetisation Project and delivering safe, high-quality offshore installation services in West Africa.”
