Technip Energies has secured a major Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract from Commonwealth LNG for a 9.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, USA.
The project includes the delivery of six identical liquefaction trains based on Technip Energies’ SnapLNG by T.EN™—a modular and scalable design. This standardized approach speeds up project delivery, reduces costs, and improves overall execution certainty.
This contract follows the successful completion of the project’s front-end engineering and design (FEED) phase by Technip Energies.
With this win, Technip Energies reinforces its global leadership in LNG, having already delivered over 20% of the world’s operational LNG capacity through innovative and modular execution strategies.
Arnaud Pieton, CEO of Technip Energies, said:
“We’re proud to be selected for the Commonwealth LNG project, which highlights our expertise in modular LNG solutions. This project plays an important role in strengthening global energy security through reliable LNG supply. We look forward to supporting its success using our SnapLNG approach.”
The award is subject to a Final Investment Decision (FID) by Commonwealth LNG and will be added to Technip Energies’ backlog once FID or full notice to proceed is confirmed.
