TechnipFMC has secured a major Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation contract from Eni S.p.A. for the Coral North development, the second floating LNG project offshore Mozambique, located in water depths of around 2,000 meters.
Commenting on the award, Jonathan Landes, President of Subsea at TechnipFMC, said the company is pleased to continue its collaboration with Eni and its consortium partners in Mozambique. He noted that TechnipFMC will build on the experience gained from successfully delivering Coral South, the world’s first FLNG project in ultra-deep water, by applying a proven execution model with further enhancements.
Under the contract, TechnipFMC will be responsible for the manufacturing and installation of flexible flowlines and risers, along with the installation of subsea manifolds and umbilicals.
