TechnipFMC has secured an integrated Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (iEPCI™) contract from Eni for the deepwater Maha project offshore Indonesia. This development marks the first implementation of TechnipFMC’s Subsea 2.0® configure-to-order (CTO) technology by Eni in Indonesia.
The contract builds on the strong collaboration and experience established through previous successful regional projects with Eni, including Jangkrik and Merakes, with the Maha field set to be tied back to the existing Jangkrik Floating Production Unit.
Jonathan Landes, President, Subsea at TechnipFMC, stated:
“This project represents another opportunity to collaborate with a leading energy operator using our integrated execution model, supported by the advantages of our configurable product platform. The Maha development strengthens our partnership with Eni and enhances schedule certainty through the application of Subsea 2.0® technologies and integrated project delivery.”
TechnipFMC’s scope includes the design and manufacture of Subsea 2.0® tree systems, flexible flowlines, a manifold, and control systems, along with the installation of the subsea production infrastructure.
