Wood’s joint venture, Massy Wood, has secured the engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and commissioning contract for the topsides brownfield scope of bp Trinidad and Tobago’s (bpTT) Juniper platform, under the Ginger development located offshore Trinidad.
Under this contract, Massy Wood will provide detailed brownfield engineering and carry out essential topside modifications on the Juniper platform. The scope includes upgrades to subsea pipeline corrosion protection and the integration of methanol injection systems—both critical for safe well start-up and optimized operational flexibility.
This award marks the continuation of Massy Wood’s involvement, following the successful completion of the pre-front end engineering design (pre-FEED) and FEED phases in March 2025.
Mala Baliraj, CEO of Massy Wood, stated: “bpTT is one of Trinidad & Tobago’s leading energy producers, and we are proud to have supported their operations for nearly two decades. This latest contract award underscores the strength of our long-standing partnership and our proven capability in safely and reliably delivering major EPC projects. We are honored to contribute to the nation’s energy resilience and economic progress.”
The project will be executed by an experienced team based in Trinidad.
