WoodKSS LLP, Wood’s integrated joint venture in Kazakhstan, has been awarded a new engineering and project support contract by Tengizchevroil LLP, operator of one of the world’s largest onshore oil producing fields.

Strengthening a partnership spanning over 20 years with Tengizchevroil, the contract comes under the master services agreement established in 2019. The scope covers expanded specialist project management services supporting core operations and continued field development activities.

Gerry Traynor, Regional President for Middle East, Africa and Caspian at Wood, said, “This award reflects a long-standing and trusted partnership with Tengizchevroil, built through consistent delivery and local execution over many years.”

The contract will be executed by WoodKSS teams located across Atyrau, Almaty, and Tengiz. The award further strengthens Wood’s long-term presence in Kazakhstan, where the company has been supporting the energy sector for more than 20 years.
