Saipem has secured two offshore contracts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, issued as Contract Release Purchase Orders (CRPOs), under its existing Long-Term Agreement with Aramco.
The first contract (CRPO 154) involves the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) of a water injection tie-in platform, two water injection wellheads, around 5 km of 24-inch pipelines, and approximately 15 km of 15kV cables at the Safaniya oil field, one of the largest offshore fields globally.
The second contract (CRPO 155) covers EPCI works for four water injection wellheads along with related subsea infrastructure, also at the Safaniya field.
Saipem will utilize its construction vessels already operating in the region for offshore execution. Fabrication activities will be carried out at its Saudi fabrication yard through Saipem Taqa Al-Rushaid Fabricators Co. Ltd., supporting the growth of local industrial capabilities.
These awards reinforce Saipem’s position in Saudi Arabia and further strengthen its long-standing partnership with Aramco.
