Wood has secured a Long-Term Agreement (LTA) from Aramco to provide support for capital projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The five-year agreement, which includes an option for a three-year extension, will see Wood deliver engineering, design, and project management services across Aramco’s oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, and lower-carbon hydrogen developments, supporting the company’s long-term energy strategy.

Nick Shorten, Executive President of Projects at Wood, said: “This agreement reinforces our position as a trusted delivery partner for Aramco and reflects our long-term commitment to supporting Aramco’s energy portfolio.”

Wood and Aramco have maintained a partnership spanning more than three decades. In 2024, Wood was awarded a major engineering services contract for Aramco’s Southern and Northern Areas gas increment projects, contributing to Saudi Arabia’s efforts to expand natural gas production.

Wood currently employs around 900 personnel within the Kingdom and will collaborate with its Reading, UK office to execute engineering design activities under the new LTA.
