Worley has been awarded a long-term agreement by Aramco, as one of a pool of 11 contractors, to support the delivery of projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The agreement will help Aramco develop and maintain critical infrastructure that supports the continuous supply of energy, chemicals, and resources for both the domestic market and global customers.
The five-year agreement is designed to support Aramco’s extensive capital investment program, one of the world’s largest across the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors. Under the agreement, Worley will provide project management consultancy (PMC) services, including engineering and design, project development studies, detailed engineering, procurement support, project and construction management, and specialized technical expertise. The scope also includes developing local capabilities and supporting talent development within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The services will be executed through Worley’s offices in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, with additional support from its global offices, including the Global Integrated Delivery (GID) team.
As part of the agreement, Worley will utilize its advanced digital capabilities—including artificial intelligence (AI), augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), digital twins, robotics and automation, digital scanning, and smart energy solutions—to enhance engineering efficiency while meeting Aramco’s engineering and information security standards.
“We are pleased to continue our relationship with Aramco of more than 50 years through this agreement,” said Chris Ashton, Chief Executive Officer of Worley. “This framework agreement reflects our capability to deliver integrated engineering and project management services across global portfolios.”
